## What APIXORA is
APIXORA is a matching and sourcing platform for pharmaceutical active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs, raw materials / 원료의약품). It links the demand side — Korean pharmaceutical companies that need to source APIs — with the supply side — verified overseas and domestic API manufacturers (and agents). It is not a reverse auction; buyers post structured RFQs and suppliers respond with competitive proposals that the buyer evaluates.

## Roles
- Buyer: a Korean pharmaceutical company sourcing APIs. Posts RFQs, reviews proposals, selects a supplier, signs in-platform agreements, then proceeds to samples, optional regulatory support, ordering and settlement.
- Supplier: an overseas or domestic API manufacturer. Registers its catalog, responds to RFQs with quotes, specifications, certificates and lead times.
- Agent: an overseas agent, treated like a manufacturer but tracked distinctly (for settlement, statistics, anonymized display and verification). Subject to the same supplier-side commercial terms.
- Operator (Admin): Cell TheraOn — approves and verifies members, manages matching, mediates messaging, configures platform settings and workflow steps, edits per-deal contract content, and runs optional regulatory support.

## How it works (end to end)
1. Register and complete company verification (buyer or supplier). Approval is manual.
2. A buyer posts an RFQ: required API, specification, quantity, certificates and lead-time expectations.
3. Verified suppliers that carry the item submit competitive proposals (unit price, spec, certificates, lead time).
4. The buyer selects a proposal; both parties negotiate via mediated in-platform messaging. Company identity is masked until both sides agree to disclose.
5. The two parties complete in-platform agreement (a three-party contract gate involving APIXORA), then exchange contact details and samples.
6. They issue a PO (purchase order) and PI (proforma invoice), then proceed to supply.
7. Payment, settlement and customs all happen OFF-platform; the platform only tracks the status of each step.

## Business model
- APIXORA operates as a brokerage marketplace. Buyers use the platform with no separate platform fee.
- Supplier-side commercial terms are agreed privately under the supplier agreement and the per-deal contract; specific terms are not published.
- Payment and settlement occur off-platform; APIXORA tracks the status of each step and issues the related documents of record.

## Confidentiality and anonymity
- Counterparty company name and contact identity are masked until both parties mutually agree to disclose (typically at contract/selection).
- Commercial terms are governed by the agreements between the parties and are not published.

## Regulatory and data
- Supports KDMF (Korea Drug Master File) workflows and regulatory communication, including optional paid regulatory support (e.g. CDA handling).
